Arcade is dead long live me.
I have decided to drop the Arcade moniker and consolidate all of my digital output (in its many various forms on the www.garyjudge.com website). To celebrate the end of this mini era and the start of the new I have released the song “Brain Wash” to the world for comments and feedback. You can find the track here.
Friday 18th July – RvD & STRAX
Friday 18th July promises two quality nights in Brum, so those of an electronic disposition should get along and support these happenings.
First in line is STRAX Jamming AV style! I failed to make it to the first one, but heard good things about what went down. Looking forward to seeing how an AV night pans out compared to a regular music event.
8pm – 2am @ The Cross in Moseley

Secondly we have the wonderful Robot Vs Dinosaur electro – glitch disco. I can personally vouch for the quality of music and friendliness of promoters. No live acts this time, so entrance is reduced to nowt!
8:30pm – Late @ The Island Bar, Suffolk Street (city centre)
New Radio Station due in Birmingham soon…
Some great news blogged about by www.createdinbirmingham.com , which is that a new radio station modelled (apparently) on Resonance FM will be setting up shop in the Custard Factory. Details are a little bit slim on the ground now, apart from it appears that they will be focusing on the internet and restricted broadcasts as a mechanism for getting heard.
I am hoping that this new initiative will be recepetive to the electronic / electro acoustic stuff that Birmingham artists are brilliant at producing and don’t end up focusing purely on the mainstream commercial end of the spectrum.
www.klunk.org gets front page google ranking.
I have using google analytics to monitor how people find out about this blog and there much of the traffic actually comes through google searches. I therefore decided to have a look at the search terms used and have found that if you google Cuabse Sidechain, not only does www.klunk.org appear 3rd in the list, but the tutorial I created for Cubase 4.1 Sidechain appears second! Also if you type klunk into Google, this site is second in the rankings.
