One of my more experimental boundary and enveloping pushing tunes has recently been selected for the equally left field compilation “Compound Fractures” on the recently formed Dislocated Tones net label. I initially heard about the formation of the label through the ever informative www.getlofi.com and after a couple of weeks and months of effort I am pleased to announce that the comp has hit the virtual shelves of http://www.dislocatedtones.com/compound-fractures/.

No money need change hands as all tracks are freely downloadable and share-able with the entire world.

To make life easier FB includes the ability to like and see who else likes the page. So far I have sent this on to my musically inclined friends and hope to get more followers over time so that I can set up a short URL.

There comes a point in time when you no longer need all of that outboard gear and it ends up cluttering your life.

This is where eBay is your friend as second hand Pro Audio equipment always seems to fetch a good price. As Pro Audio becomes more popular unusual equipment becomes harder to come by…

If you are brave (and I am) it is a great idea to list the item you wish to sell for as low as you can bear.

Here I am selling an old MIDI drum machine with a starting price of £0.99 with NO RESERVE!

Now I know that this drum machine is worth well over 20 times that amount and expect to realise this by letting the auction run its course. During this time more people will be attracted to the drum machine and hopefully two people will end up fighting it at the bitter end and raise the end price.

I will of course report how well this went, however it has been a strategy that has not let me down yet.
